Greetings!  I am Pastor Jimmy Greene and my wife Lisa and I are very excited about our new roles at West Corinth. Although I have preached here a number of times since the beginning of 2026, I officially began as Interim Pastor on June 14, 2026. I have over 40 years of church ministry experience having served as Minister of Youth and Music, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor to three churches. I retired from the military (Army) in 2003, having served almost 26 years. My last ten years in the military, I also pastored my first church as a bi-vocational Pastor. I am a graduate of Liberty University, and I retired from full-time ministry in April 2025 having served as Senior Pastor of Higher Ground Baptist Church in Lexington, NC for 11 ½ years. 

 

My wife Lisa and I have been married for two years after God brought us together after the passing of both our spouses. I have two daughters, Lisa has two daughters, and together we have nine grandchildren. I consider my wife Lisa to be one of my greatest assets in the ministry. Lisa’s lifelong passion is the calling of an encourager! She is always interested in helping God’s people achieve their highest potential, goals and dreams. As a person of prayer and through continuous learning of the ways of the Holy Spirit and the power of God’s word, she focuses on effective ways to bring the gospel into everyday experiences of victory and help others see answered prayer.
